About the Event

Trauma Aid Aotearoa, a compassionate and forward-thinking organization dedicated to trauma recovery, has launched an innovative solution to assist those affected by Cyclone Gabrielle from the comfort of their own homes. In response to the challenges posed by the pandemic and the need for accessible mental health support, Trauma Aid Aotearoa has introduced an online group Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) session for cyclone survivors.

This virtual EMDR session demonstrates Trauma Aid's adaptability and commitment to helping communities heal from traumatic events, wherever and whenever help is needed. Our aim is to create a safe and supportive space for survivors to process their emotions and find resilience in the face of adversity.

This online EMDR session will be facilitated by highly trained therapists who specialize in trauma recovery.
